The rules for using PassportPhotoBox editing, checking and export tools, including the limits that apply to optional features.
The service
PassportPhotoBox provides tools for preparing passport, visa, identification and application images, as well as selected signature and document files. The tools help with a requested task such as cropping, resizing, file compression, print layout or a clearly labelled optional artificial intelligence feature. They do not issue a passport, visa or other document.
Your responsibility
Use the correct document route, upload only an image you are authorised to handle and submit truthful material. A prepared output can still be rejected when the source photo, current instructions or application route does not meet the receiving authority's requirements. A result marked as passing is not a guarantee of acceptance.
Permitted use and content
You may use the service for legitimate personal or authorised work. Do not use it to impersonate another person, prepare fraudulent identity material, forge a signature, pretend that generated handwriting was written by someone else or process private images without permission. The Acceptable Use Policy gives more detail because these limits protect the person pictured and the organisations that rely on the final file.
Your files and PassportPhotoBox content
You keep the rights you hold in the images and text you provide. You give PassportPhotoBox only the limited permission needed to run the requested feature, show the result and respond to a related support or security issue. PassportPhotoBox retains its rights in the site, tool design, text, logos and software.
Availability and changes
The service can change, pause or be unavailable during maintenance, a provider problem or a security response. PassportPhotoBox may update a tool or policy when its working behaviour changes. A material policy change should show a new review date and should not be used to create a retroactive promise about a past transaction.
Payments and consumer rights
No live checkout is described by these terms until a payment page shows the product, currency, price, fulfilment and the applicable refund information before purchase. If PassportPhotoBox introduces a paid feature, the checkout and Refund Policy must be updated before a charge can be made. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
